Language Arts with Miss Jager

While school is off due to the sickness going around, students should primarily refer to their Google Classroom pages for information and contact with me.

Sixth graders will be resuming spelling each week, since this looks to be the new normal for quite some time, on a weekly video call on Zoom (Wednesdays at 12:30).  They will also be expected to play at least two spelling games on Spelling City and do definitions for each list.  We will also be starting a unit on Verbs, during which students should complete approximately one lesson and the accompanying practice problems per day.  Notes via Google Docs and slides will be shared several times a week.

Eighth graders in literature have the "Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry" movie available to watch, if desired.  In Bible, slides will be posted several times a week; readings and questions should be completed before doing the accompanying assignments.  Most of these are in the workbooks and will need to be turned in when we return to school, but some will be turned in online.  Quizzes and tests will be on Google Forms.
